Our Story
Lotus Pad was born in 2007 and was the first Asian restaurant to come to Big Sky. What started out as monthly dinner parties soon became a popular restaurant and community staple. In 2017 after 10 years in the original small space (only 6 tables!), The Lotus Pad finally grew its roots and expanded into a larger space in the Big Sky Town Center. We continue to serve delicious and authentic Thai and Vietnamese inspired cuisine and use local and organic ingredients as much as possible.

“I moved to Big Sky in 2002 from San Francisco. Having a Russian mother and Filipino father, I was exposed to exotic cuisines and unique flavors throughout my life. It is this foundation that sparked my love for Asian food. After attending the California Culinary Academy and working in various restaurants in San Francisco, I put down my chef knife and went to Thailand for one year to travel and learn about Thai cuisine. My love for people and food are what make owning a restaurant fulfilling and exciting. I encourage you to enjoy life, be present and celebrate friends and family with good food and a fun atmosphere.
